- IPMV can run on dedicated hardware, be virtualized or run in the cloud.
Windows – configuration recommendations
- Use clean Windows installation for production environments
- Use only Windows Defender as AntiVirus/AntiMalware software
- When using other Antivirus software (not recommended), exclude c:\SMIPMultiviewer folder and all audio/video traffic from scanning
- Allow all audio/video traffic through Windows Firewall
- Make sure automatic updates and restarts are disabled
