Platform requirements – mandatory

  • Windows OS (recommended: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, Windows Server 2019/2022; also supported: Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 10 Pro)
  • NVIDIA GPU – one or two GPUs. Check compatibility list below
  • Intel or AMD CPU – one or two
  • IPMV can run on dedicated hardware, be virtualized or run in the cloud.

Windows – configuration recommendations

  • Use clean Windows installation for production environments
  • Use only Windows Defender as AntiVirus/AntiMalware software
  • When using other Antivirus software (not recommended), exclude c:\SMIPMultiviewer folder and all audio/video traffic from scanning
  • Allow all audio/video traffic through Windows Firewall
  • Make sure automatic updates and restarts are disabled
