Signals Condition provides comprehensive monitoring of stream parameters – including stream structure, data loss, audio/video decoding.

Internal diagnostics

  • Monitor application inactive – only works with when configured with IPMV Monitor application. Triggers alarm when Monitor application is not running.

Important options

  • Signal Duration: for how long (in seconds) selected source conditions must be triggered for the alarm to be executed. Default value: 0 seconds
  • Signal Merging: if break between multiple selected source conditions of the same time will be lower than configured value (in seconds) they will be considered as one event. Default value: 5 seconds

Errors section

Options available for all sources:

  • Video Loss – triggered when there is no video available for display – for any reason. Including network delivery, stream state, software or hardware issues or configuration issues. This is an “umbrella” condition – including all other conditions which may result in no video being displayed.

Additional alarms available for MPEG-TS based sources – MPEG-TS and SRT:

  • TS Continuity Error
  • TS Extraction Error
  • No TS PAT
  • No TS PCR
  • No TS PMT
  • No DVB Program Names
  • No UDP/RTP data received
