E-mail output
E-mail alarms are sent using regular e-mail account. You need to have e-mail account created before using this option with SMTP access.
- SMTP server(host[:port]) enter IP or address of SMTP server, followed by port number, i.e. myserver.com:587
- SMTP username: enter username for authentication (optional)
- SMTP password: enter password for authentication (optional)
- From: enter sender e-mail address
SNMP output
IP Multiviewer will send SNMP traps.
- SNMP server(host[:port]) enter IP or hostname of SNMP server, followed by port number
Each station can have its unique number that will be included in the traps along with IP Multiviewer machine ID. Click to see a list of stations with no ID assigned and to renumber them- will automatically renumber all stations
- will assign numbers only to stations with no ID
You can also assign numbers manually. On top of each station configuration there is a field “SNMP Station ID”.

Dump output
When used as output, on each error, IP Multiviewer will make an exact copy of the fragment of MPEG-TS stream matching the moment of problem occurrence.
- Preroll: number of seconds to export before and after the error.
SQL output
IP Multiviewer can store alarms in SQL database. Currently supported is MS SQL database.
Note: Available only with IPMV Enterprise license.
- Sql server name: hostname or IP of the SQL server
- Sql server port: port number for connection to database
- Database user name: database user name used for connection
- Database user password: type in only when setting up for the first time, or when password changed
- Sql server database name: name of the database where logs will be stored
- Retention: number of days to keep alarms in the database. Type in number of days, or word all to disable retention.
- Store errors: check to save errors
- Store warnings: check to save warnings
API output
- path component: enter name of the API component. For Monitor application enter “monitor”.
