Multiselect option
Any change to configuration can be applied across multiple stations at one time.
This is possible when using “Multiselect” mode. There are two ways to use it:
- With keyboard and mouse: click select stations while holding Ctrl key
- Using just mouse: click “Multiselect” checkbox under design window, and then click selected stations

Duplicate a station
You can clone an existing station configuration and then adjust its parameters – to configure multiple stations quickly.
- Select station(s) on the screen – you can select one station or multiple stations, on one or on multiple screens. Selected stations are marked orange
- If you want to clone the station using a different grid, choose the grid from grid menu
- In Screen design area click . Selected station will be added to the screen using current grid.
- Alternatively – click on the right side of Clone station button, to use advanced placement features:
- Clone only stations fitting in original locations – drop others:
- Clone only stations fitting in original locations – keep multi screen if possible
- Clone stations to current screen keeping station size: duplicate station with its’ original screen size (if there is enough space left)
- Clone stations to all screens keeping station size: as above, duplicate to all screens
- Clone stations to current screen using current grid: will clone station(s) using currently selected grid (resize if station was added using different grid)
- Clone all stations to current screen – scale down if necessary: duplicate will be scaled if there is no space to clone it with original size
- Clone all stations to all screens – scale down if necessary: same as above, duplicate to all screens
Cloned station(s) will be selected – highlighted orange – and ready to be configured.
Copy a station to a different configuration
- Select stations on the screen
- Click “hamburger” button in the screen design area (next to )
- Select “Copy station(s)” option
- From Configurations menu select another configuration or create a new one
- Click “hamburger” button in the screen design area
- Select “Paste station(s)”, then choose one of options:
- Paste only stations fitting in original locations – drop others: station(s) will be placed on the same screen position as original one(s)
- Paste only stations fitting in original locations – keep multi screen if possible: same as above on all screens available
- Paste stations to current screen keeping station size: pasted station(s) will have size of the original one(s)
- Paste stations to all screens keeping station size: same as above on all screens available
- Paste stations to current screen using current grid: copy will be places using current grid (if there is enough space on the screen)
- Paste all stations to current screen – scale down if necessary: station(s) will be scaled if there is not enough space to place them in original size
- Paste all stations to all screens – scale down if necessary: as above, on all screens available
Changes to multiple stations
To change some of the parameters in multiple stations:
- Select one or more stations on the grid – on one or multiple screens. Selection is highlighted with orange color
- Change parameter(s) in the right-side edit area (i.e. scale, border color)
- To restore initial parameters (undo changes) press
- Save config or ( Ctrl+Enter )
Resize selected station(s) to current grid
If you want to automatically resize stations to current grid:
- Select stations on the screen
- Click “hamburger” button in the screen design area (next to )
- Select “Resize stations to current grid”
- IP Multiviewer will ask if you want to resize selected or all stations – choose preferred option
Applying the new grid
To apply another grid before adding new station to the screen layout:
- Roll down “Grid” menu, select desired grid size
- IP Multiviewer will ask if you want to resize selected or all stations
- click to apply new grid and resize all existing stations to the new grid
- click to apply new grid and resize only selected stations to the new grid
- click to only apply new grid, leaving stations size unchanged.
Remove stations
Select screen from the screen list
- Select station on the grid – selection is highlighted with orange color
- In General configuration tab, click “hamburger” button and select Delete Station: General configuration + Alarms.
- Save config or ( Ctrl+Enter )
*Remember: *Changing configuration does not affect the Multiviewer mosaic on the fly. To update Multiviewer mosaic, click the green button under the main mosaic designing window. The current configuration will now become “active” – you will see its name presented with an asterisk.
At any moment you can reset changes made to Station configuration. Click “hamburger” icon in General configuration tab and select Revert changes to last saved configuration: General configuration + Alarms
