Upgrading procedure

• Backup configuration and binary files
• If SML Server is installed in "Desktop mode", or installed version is older than 5.0, shut down SML Guard by right-clicking red SML Icon in System Tray and select "Shutdown SML"
• Close SML Configuration
• Install new SML Server version
• Run SML Configuration from desktop and re-start SML by clicking [Start Guard] in Modules section

If there is any problem with a new version shut down SML:

• restore c:\smlserver\bin folder from backup
• re-start recording using old version
• report problem to Stirlitz Media support: support@stirlitzmedia.com
