To start webPlayer, open web browser and type http://yoursmlserver:port/

Stirlitz Media webPlayer's welcome screen lists all stations available from this web browser.
Search: full-text search box. Type one or more letters to filter list of available stations. Search works for Station name and the Server address/IP.
Stations grid: each box represents a single programme with its name, time of last recording and the length of archive. Boxes having blue background are stations that are being currently recorded. They also show preview for last frame captured. Boxes with gray background are stations that are not recording and only have archived data. "TV" icon on the box indicates video archive. "Radio" icon is for audio channel. These icons can be changed to station logo - more details on this in SML Server manual.
Log in area: Station grid will only show stations that can be accessed anonymously. If there are some stations with restricted access, you will need to log in into SML webPlayer with your username and password.
Status box: presents the addresses/IPs of servers webPlayer is connected to, its software version and the number of recorded stations.
To access station, simply click its' box on the list.
webPlayer interface and usage is similiar to SML Player for Windows.
The timeline
SML Player timeline shows your archive in visual way. It is divided in five rows containing numbered boxes. Those rows are showing different resolutions of archive preview: seconds, minutes, hours, days and months. For easier navigation, video stations timeline shows first keyframe captured in each displayed second, minute and so.
Red vertical line in the middle of the timeline is the cursor ("playhead") showing the exact position of currently played part. Timecode for cursor position is displayed below the timeline.
To access specific part of the show, simply drag any of the timeline bar to selected date/time. On mobile, just swipe your finger left or right to scroll through timeline bars.
You can hide timeline from screen if you wish to see bigger picture. Simply locate and click red "X" icon on the top right part of the screen.
Station selector & navigation bar
Control buttons are groupped with colors, regarding their context.
Preview area (video stations only) plays the selected part of recorded programme. Doubleclick it to enter full screen mode. To exit full screen mode, press Esc or double click the picture.
Metadata area shows selected metadata - such as as-run log, loudness, event information etc. Click on any row of the metadata window, to jump to selected event on the timeline.
